This wish was out of this world! Daniel (aged 9) from Dublin is living with a brain tumour and his wish was to visit NASA!
We sent Daniel and his family to the Johnson Space Center in Texas. Daniel met real-life astronauts and relished the opportunity to walk on NASA’s replica of the International Space Station. The family had special access to the old mission control room, and witnessed the astronauts training underwater. Daniel’s mother, Orlagh said that the family will never forget the trip and that, ‘it was a real, once-in-a-lifetime experience!’
