The three distances are 80km, 120km and 160km for those looking for a real challenge. All three routes are incredibly scenic and are on quiet roads. All three routes start and finish in Westport and take in spectacular scenery on the coast road to Louisburgh and through the Doo Lough Valley. The longer routes enjoy the lovely views around the Inagh Valley and Tourmakeady and include some challenging climbs. Welcome (and well deserved) refreshment stops are provided for all cyclists during the event, with the main one at Glen Keen Farm near Doo Lough Valley.
Early birds get a great deal – just €40 for the event, including a special event cycling jersey. Veteran Westportifers now have a collection of jerseys and gilets which are in evidence at cycling events all over the country. The early bird deal is the same for all three distances.
