Oliwia aged 9 from Dublin, was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia twice and underwent a Bone Marrow Transplant. Oliwia met with Marcella and Noel, Make-A-Wish Ireland volunteers for a virtual wish visit and told them about her wish to travel around Ireland with her family in a campervan to visit new places and make memories with her family.
Oliwia had an amazing time visiting beaches along the northwest coast of Ireland, where she met lots of animals along the way from falcons in Mayo to bears in Donegal. Oliwia loved seeing and exploring Ireland with her family, it was the ultimate staycation! Oliwia enjoyed a walk on the beach where she stopped to write a thank you message in the sand to the team at Make-A-Wish Ireland.
Magical moments like Oliwia’s wish would not be possible without the support and generosity of Irish businesses. We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who helped make Oliwia’s wish come true, Bearman, Killian McLaughlin and all the team at Wild Ireland, Cong Camping, Caravan & Glamping Park and Ireland's School of Falconry at Ashford Castle.
