Tomás , aged 7, from Cork is living with rhabdomyosarcoma and wished to meet his hero, Roy Keane. With the help of our partner SSE Aitricity and their association with the FAI, we were delighted to grant his wish!
Tomás and his parents received a VIP tour of the Aviva Stadium before meeting Roy in one of the dressing rooms. Tomás and Roy chatted like old friends and Tomás asked Roy lots of questions about different periods in his career and life as a soccer player. Roy answered every question and wondered if Tomás was going to be a journalist when he grew up!
