Daniela from Co. Monaghan was diagnosed with Biliary Atresia when she was just 7 days old. Biliary Artesia is a condition that affects the liver and resulted in a liver transplant for Daniela.
Daniela, who is now 5 years old, was recently granted a wish by Make-A-Wish Ireland. Her wish was to have a princess tea party. Daniela loves to perform, sing and dance, and dress up. Her wish was inspired by the characters from the movie Frozen. Daniela loves the characters’ princess dresses, and her favourite song is ‘Let it go’.
On the day of Daniela’s wish, she and her family were warmly welcomed to the Davenport Hotel – a welcome fit for a princess! The VIP treatment continued throughout the day and her mum told us that they felt like “celebrities”. Daniela and her parents enjoyed some afternoon tea and delicious cake, and of course, there was some dancing and singing involved too. Daniela’s princess wish was topped off by a magical horse and carriage ride around Dublin.
Daniela’s Mum told us that she had her “dream day” and that her wish day was “magical”.
