Successful people always seem to have the wind at their backs. In reality, they don’t let a strong headwind beat them back!
We are delighted to announce that our Wish Leaders Programme for Transition Year students is returning for a second year. The feedback we have received from teachers who participated last year is fantastic and really encouraging. It is very evident that the programme is supporting students throughout the country and giving them the opportunity to learn new skills, push themselves out of their comfort zones and believe anything is possible.
The Wish Leaders programme includes exclusive videos from inspirational figures in the areas of business, sports, and entertainment. These videos focus on a pivotal moment in the speaker’s life or career and how they overcome challenges. Students are encouraged to identify and discuss the leadership skills in the stories they hear and then to put those skills into practice in organising a fundraiser to help grant wishes to seriously ill children.
- Learn about leadership qualities
- Gain insight into dealing with challenging situations
- Put leadership skills into practice
- Develop project & planning skills
- Contribute to the wellbeing of seriously ill children & their community
