Successful people always seem to have the wind at their backs. In reality, they don’t let a strong headwind beat them back!
Make-A-Wish Ireland are offering a new programme to Transition Year students across Ireland this year. The Wish Leaders programme includes exclusive videos from inspirational figures in the areas of business, sports, and entertainment. These videos focus on a pivotal moment in the speaker’s life or career and how they overcome challenges. Students are encouraged to identify and discuss the leadership skills in the stories they hear and then to put those skills into practice in organising a fundraiser to help grant wishes to seriously ill children.
- Learn about leadership qualities
- Gain insight into dealing with challenging situations
- Put leadership skills into practice
- Develop project & planning skills
- Contribute to the wellbeing of seriously ill children & their community
For full details, see our programme guide:
Registration is FREE and there is no requirement to commit to a minimum amount of funds raised. Any funds your students do successfully raise will go towards granting the wishes of children in Ireland who are living with life-threatening illnesses. Full materials are available now but you can start the programme at any point during the academic year.
