Make-A-Wish Ireland want to do their part in minding the planet to protect their Wish Children.
Our newest campaign, Swap for Wishes, is looking to inspire Transition Year students across Ireland to organise a Swap Shop event.
Don’t bin it, swap it!
Donate preloved items such as books, games, handbags, fashion accessories. Or any unwanted gifts such as perfume / aftershave / make-up sets!
Youth participation is crucial to the future of our planet and a vital beacon of sustainability. The journey to that goal of sustainability begins with educating students in a nurturing and sustainable environment and one that is engaging and enjoyable.
With the rise of climate anxiety, we need to think of solutions that benefit local communities as well as the environment.
Swap For Wishes is an environmentally friendly fundraiser you can do at school to help protect the planet and prevent climate change.
You will also be helping to grant wishes to children aged 3 to 17 who have life-threatening and, in some cases, terminal, illnesses. Our vision is to grant the wish of every eligible child living in Ireland as an integral part of their treatment journey.
