Where there's a wish, there is hope
Throughout the month of December, Make-A-Wish Ireland are asking companies, schools and the local community to put on their festive jumpers and help grant wishes to children who live with life-threatening medical conditions.

Your support will help children like 7-year-old Tristan, or TJ as he is known to his friends. TJ is living with a condition called lissencephaly, a very rare, congenital condition. When our Wish volunteers Emer and Emma met with TJ, they learned that he loves things that light up and are brightly coloured. TJ had one wish and that was for colourful sensory equipment all of his own.
The wish team got to work and in just a few weeks, delivered a whole range of sensory equipment and toys. His wish treats included fibre optic lights, a light-up jelly fish tank and an infinity mirror. TJ was over the moon. His mum told us; “TJ’s wish has really come true. It has been a fantastic experience.”
But with a long waiting list of wishes to be granted, we need your support. By donning a favourite Christmas jumper and making a donation, your school, company or community group will grant wishes to kids like TJ this Christmas.
