Since 1980, Disney has helped Make-A-Wish® grant more than 145,000 life-changing wishes around the world - bringing hope, strength and joy to wish children and their families.
Our friends at Disney have launched the final instalment of the ‘From Our Family To Yours’ campaign, supporting Make-A-Wish.
In celebration, they are encouraging fans to get involved. You can join and donate to support even more life-changing wishes. Your gift will have double the impact as Disney will match all qualifying donations totalling up to USD $100,000*.
From Our Family To Yours
Disney’s ‘From Our Family To Yours’ campaign includes the launch of Disney ‘The Gift’. The animated short tells the touching, relatable story of a blended family as they prepare for the festive period, and the arrival of a new baby.
There is synergy between the advert theme of togetherness and our mission of creating joy, happiness and moments that matter through life-changing wishes for children living with critical illnesses.
This year's campaign brings some unique wish moments to life – from Amelia in Australia meeting her favourite character, Mickey Mouse - to Davide from Italy having his Marvel wish come true at Disneyland Paris – and Sienna in the UK, who had the opportunity to design the jacket for Sanka the dog in the Holiday advert itself. Each wish experience is represented through hidden Easter Eggs in the advert – can you spot them?
You will hear the original track A Little More, during the advert. This is written by LA-based songwriters PARKWILD, Sofia Quinn and Rose Tan & performed by Disney Encanto’s Jessica Darrow (who plays Luisa Madrigal). It has been released in celebration of Disney supporting Make-A-Wish.
The support, made up of financial donations, media value and gifts in-kind, is a further contribution to Disney’s ongoing 40-year partnership to help us in our mission to grant life-changing wishes.
