ARNOTTS CHARITY DAY - 8TH DECEMBER
To celebrate 8th December, the traditional Irish Christmas Shopping Day, Arnotts, Ireland's longest established department store, has devised a unique charity initiative
- the first of it's type in Ireland. Arnotts has teamed up with charity website www.ammado.com to give a EUR20 charity voucher to customers with every purchase over EUR100 on that day. This voucher can then be used to donate to a charity of their choice.Jonathan Sexton and Miriam O'Callaghan helped to launch the Arnotts Charity Day - Arnotts will be inviting 6 partner charities to host stands in the store on the day to encourage shoppers to redeem their vouchers and to spread the word about the charitable projects currently taking place.
Barnardos, Barrettstown, Concern, International Orphanage Development Programme, Make-A-Wish and St.Vincent de Paul will be in-store on 8th December.
David Riddiford, CEO, Arnotts said, "We are very excited to bring such a unique initiative to our store on 8th December. We know that this year people are more conscious of others than ever so we are facilitating a new way of giving and we hope to bring the store alive that day with choirs and charity ambassadors."
